So, I finished the Miragamo bag over the New Years weekend. I followed the instructions from Noni Designs on how to sew the lining for a rectangular bag.
Since sewing is still a bit new to me, I had a few set backs with threading the machine and troubleshooting the tension. I had to go buy a seam ripper and a good pair of dressmaker shears to assist me in the process.
I used my Great Grandmothers' (mom's mom side) sewing
machine. It was made by the Hilton Sewing Machine Co. from Cleavland Ohio. It may be close to 40 years old, but it still works like new.
Here it is sitting in the sewing table.
happy sewing...
hugs,
miss peanutbutter
